What We Capture

Dynamic Loft, Lie, and Dispersion Under Gust

Static loft numbers stamped on a set rarely match dynamic loft — the loft actually presented at impact, which depends heavily on attack angle. We measure your dynamic loft and lie angle across the set, then run the same swings through simulated crosswind to see how much each club's shape drifts once wind is added.

A flatter, more penetrating iron flight typically drifts less in a crosswind than a high, spinny one — but too flat and you lose the stopping power that holds a firm desert green. We tune each club to sit right at that balance point for your swing.

Building a Set That Holds Its Shape

Lie Angle

An upright or flat lie angle biases the face left or right at impact before wind ever touches the ball — correcting it removes one variable a crosswind would otherwise amplify.

Shaft Flex & Weight

A shaft that's slightly too flexible for your tempo can add spin variance that shows up as inconsistent crosswind drift, shot to shot, even when your swing looks the same.

Length & Gapping

We check carry gapping across the full set under both calm and gusted conditions, since gaps that look even in the bay can widen or overlap once wind is pulling numbers around.
