Reading Your Carry Numbers, Not Your Assumptions
Most golfers guess where their hybrid should replace a long iron based on the number stamped on the sole. We measure your actual carry distances for both, calm air and gusted, and look for where the real overlap or gap sits — sometimes it's a full club different from the label.
A hybrid that launches too high can lose more to a headwind than the long iron it's replacing. A hybrid that launches too low can lose greens it should be holding. The right head and shaft combination threads that needle for your specific swing.

Loft Progression
We check loft gapping against the clubs on either side of the hybrid so the window it fills is a real gap, not an overlap that leaves a hole elsewhere in the set.
Head Shape
A more compact, iron-like head shape generally launches lower and spins less — useful for a wind-resistant flight — while a rounder, more game-improvement shape launches higher and forgives mishits at some wind-resistance cost.
Shaft Weight
Matching hybrid shaft weight to the irons around it keeps swing tempo consistent through the set, which matters for repeatable strike quality once wind is adding pressure to every shot.
